Steward's Comments: Near the 150m when attempting a run was eased from heels. Rider reported after trailing the race fav throughout the event from passing the 600m his mount was left flat footed despite his urgings and for this reason lost ground, which he attributed to the mare not handling today's tight turning track, failed to make the home turn when being ridden along. He added, whilst having some difficulty in the early part of the straight obtaining clear running, once balanced the mare finished the race of well.

Steward's Comments: Raced keenly in the early stages as a result the saddle shifted placing rider at a disadvantage, shifted wider near the 800m and as a result Snobbery was able to improve to its inside. RR when her mount was racing keenly in the early stages her saddle slipped placing her at a disadvantage for the remainder of the race.
