Still early in the prep and needs another run or two.

Returns from a 48-day let-up. Last start couldn't go on with it; ran last of 9 at Matamata on February 28 over 2000m, slow going 24 len behind Savoir Faire carrying 56.5kg at $7.40. Before that 13th of 15 at Ellerslie Hcp on January 31 over 2200m, slow going 8 len behind Sinhaman with 56.5kg at $7.50. Key runner on his best form.

Comes off a 34 day let-up. Most recently won by a 0.4 len at Wanganui March 14 over 2040m on a rain affected track defeating Sheaf carrying 56kg at $4.80. The race before that 8th of 12 at this track on February 7 over 2100m, on a slow track; 4 len behind Just Call Me Jonny carrying 56.5kg at $20.50. Can get the job done again.

Form hard to fault. Comes off a 37 day let-up. Last start 3rd of 8 at Matamata on March 11 over 2000m, slow going 0.9 len behind Giacomo with 54kg at $4.50. The start before that 4th of 10 at Wanganui on February 22 over 1600m, on a slow track; 1.3 len behind Belle Tribute with 56.5kg at $12.60. Top chance.

Form hard to fault. Most recently favourite; came from midfield and won by 0.9 len at Ellerslie April 4 over 2200m on a soft track defeating Fastdeeldun with 60kg at $2.90. The run before that ran on from midfield; 3rd of 11 at Pukekohe on March 13 over 2100m, on a slow track; 2 len behind Astarte carrying 57kg at $6.80. Back in winning form but won’t find this any easier.
