Previously second-up second last of 10 at Arawa Park on July 2 over 1230m, on heavy track; 29 len behind Sweetazme with 54.5kg at $10.80. Might find this a bit too tough.

Three-year-old gelding making debut by Savabeel out of Purcentage. Was third in a Tauranga barrier trial over 950m on January 13 then followed up with a fourth at Ellerslie in a 1100m trial on February 10. Wide barrier to overcome. No surprise to see him feature.

Second-up. First-up after seven months second last of 11 at Te Rapa on January 30 over 1200m, on a slow track; 6 len behind Katamuku with 56.5kg at $47.60. Previously second-up 5th of 12 at Cambridge Synthetic on June 18 over 970m, 4.5 len behind Love The Sort with 55.5kg at $6.20. Didn't do enough first up to raise hopes.

Second-up. Comes off a 37-day let-up. First-up after eight months 8th of 10 at Te Rapa on January 16 over 1100m, on a slow track; 5.5 len behind Track Tester carrying 56.5kg at $19.10. Previously second-up 8th of 13 at Matamata on April 17 over 1400m, slow going 7 len behind Urlar with 56kg at $6.30. Strips fitter and is among the chances.

Mare by Snitzel facing the starter for the first time. Ran 3rd in a trial at Avondale over 1000m on November 14. Has the pedigree so could measure up without surprising.

Dual acceptor. Resuming after a break; only one run when 3rd of 7 at Pukekohe on October 29 over 1200m, on a wet track; 1.75 len behind Circus Trix with 55.5kg at $5.10. Capable of a bold return.

Second-up second last of 10 at Te Rapa on January 30 over 1200m, on a slow track; 10 len behind Roaring Bebe carrying 55kg at $6. Won't find this as tough so gets chance to break through.

Resumes from a spell after only one run when 8th of 11 at Te Aroha on November 11 over 1150m, on a slow track; 6 len behind Sibling Rivalry carrying 55.5kg at $6.60. Anticipating her to hit the ground running this campaign.

First starter by Snitzel out of Satono Sapphire. Has a total of two trials leading in today's debut. Worth consideration.

Three-year-old filly (Staphanos - Lauramia) will no doubt benefit from the five trials prior to her debut today. Fourth over 800m in a Pukekohe trial on January 20. Prefer to see under race conditions.
