Steward's Comments: Near the 900m was hampered and carried wider. Held up from the 400m until the 200m. Near the 100m laid in and approaching the winning post was unable to be fully tested, when awkwardly placed close to heels. RR instructions were to attempt to take up a forward position with cover, however when runners to his inside showed speed, he elected to ease in an attempt to find cover and settled further back than he would have liked. When questioned Re straight R Ex after initially being held up shifted in to improv.
