Showed pace to sit with the leaders, fought hard but tired quickly 5L at Rosehill Gardens Highway-C2 over 1100m Soft 5. Just off the leaders at the 400m however couldn't make up ground from sixth 2.8L at Ballina Cl3 Bm66 over 1015m. Second-up.

Up outside the speed gave everything tiring for fifth place 5.6L at Gunnedah Ctry Bm58 over 1250m. Flew to the line in an impressive gallop for second but got too far back 0.2L at Inverell Cl3 over 1200m.
