Races SRX Kembla Grange

Allowed the leaders to get a head start and didn't run on when sixth 5.1L at Gosford Cl1 over 1200m. Got back worse than midfield and was pushed along to make ground 5L at Warwick Farm Bm72 over 1400m. Likely to benefit from the drop in grade.

Loomed ominously on the lead but outgunned late when runner-up 0.8L at Kembla Grange Cg&E Bm64 over 1400m. Made up some ground but never looked a danger 3.4L at Royal Randwick Midway Bm72(71) over 1600m. Like chances back to this level.

Caught the eye running on late from well back to gain second 1.1L at Newcastle Mid Bm64 over 1250m. Did pass a few tired horses but ultimately left run too late 3.5L at Warwick Farm Bm72 over 1400m. Nicely placed by trainer here.

Sent forward and gave backers a sight before weakening into fifth 1.9L at Rosehill Gardens 3&4Y Bm72 over 1500m. Found a nice spot behind the speed but did little in the run home 7L at Royal Randwick 3&4Y Bm72 (70) over 1600m. Likely to benefit from the drop in grade.

Trailed just off the pace and looked to have few excuses 5L at Rosehill Gardens Midway Bm72 over 2000m. Led and gave all but left nothing left for finish 22.4L at Beaumont Newcastle Mid 5Y+ Bm64 over 2000m.

Had the winning post in sight after going forward but then dropped out for sixth 6.4L at Hawkesbury Cl1 over 1300m. Settled behind the pace and ran home gamely for second 0.7L at Goulburn Cl1 over 1400m.

Enjoyed a nice run in transit and kicked strongly to hold second 2.7L at Thomas Farms RC Murray Bridge Bm56 over 1800m. Settled on pace and proved far too good winning 2.1L at Morphettville Parks 0-64 over 2250m.

Ran on ok for fifth after settling midfield in transit 3L at Warwick Farm 5Y+ Mares Bm72 over 1600m. Came home strongly over the concluding stages for a nice fourth 2.2L at Warwick Farm 5Y+ Bm64 over 1600m. Has a history of running well at this track/distance.

Held spot to the line for fifth and never a winning chance 7.2L at Kembla Grange Cg&E Bm64 over 1400m. Tried very hard under vigorous riding from midfield but outclassed sixth 4.8L at Canterbury Park Cg&E Bm72 over 1550m. Nicely placed by trainer here.

Led, gave everything to hold on however found one better finishing second 1.4L at Gosford Prov/Mid Mdn over 1600m. Settled on the pace and ran down the leaders to win 0.4L at Gosford Prov Mdn over 1600m.

Could only battle the race out for fourth after holding that position in-running 7.4L at Goulburn Mdn-Sw over 1600m Heavy 9. Positioned ready to pounce and took over late for an easy win 1.8L at Kembla Grange 4Y+ Mdn-Sw over 1400m. Second-up.

Loomed as the winner and got to the lead when it mattered most 0.5L at Canberra Cl1-Sw over 1600m Soft 5. Galloped home strongly for third after sitting behind the speed 0.7L at Gosford Bm64 over 1600m.

Led doing best to fight off challengers but ultimately outclassed late 24.6L at Goulburn Cl1-Sw over 1600m. Tracked into the race well from a forward position but was no match fifth 2.2L at Hawkesbury Prov Bm64 over 1500m Soft 5. Won second-up in the past.

Trailed handy to the leaders, pushed along but run petered out for fifth 4.8L at Kembla Grange Cl1 over 1500m. Ridden off the speed but produced best over the concluding stages for second 1.5L at Kembla Grange Prov Cl1 over 1600m.

Failed to improve on the front runners after settling midfield 6.4L at Queanbeyan Bm74 over 1600m. Settled just off the pace and hit the line nicely for second 2.5L at Kembla Grange F&M Bm64 over 1400m.

Weakened for sixth after going forward to sit outside the leader 4L at Gosford Bm64 over 1600m. Failed to improve on the front runners after settling midfield 8.9L at Warwick Farm 5Y+ Bm64 over 1600m.
