Has tackled small fields at his last couple and racing genuinely, finishing in the minors. Last start ran second when well supported in a steeplechase (4500m) at Newbury. Looks well suited here and is overdue.

Resumed from a spell last start in a 4900m hurdle at Haydock Park and was beaten 16 lengths into seventh. Fitter for run. Place best.

Returned from a spell in a hurdle (3800m) at Haydock Park and was too strong with an all the way win. Fitter again and rates a top chance.

Going well this prep. Placed first-up two starts ago in a steeplechase (4800m) at Ludlow then was a minor placegetter again last time in a steeplechase (4900m) at Southwell, beaten 5 lengths. Not keen on his chances this time.

Opened the campaign with a respectable second in a hurdle (4810m) at Perth then last start missed the placings in the G2 Charlie Hall Chase steeplechase (4800m) at Wetherby two months ago. Hard to have on recent efforts.
