Ran on ok for fifth after settling midfield in transit 2.8L at Echuca Mdn-Sw over 1600m Soft 6. Looked in need of further after getting a long way out of ground, sixth 6.3L at Moe Mdn-Sw over 1200m. Second-up.

Couldn't quicken when asked for the effort after positioning worse than midfield 10.7L at Southside Cranbourne Mdn-Sw over 1400m. Never in the hunt and disappointed over the final half of the race 11L at Mornington Mdn-Sw over 2025m.

Showed pace to sit with the leaders, fought hard but tired quickly 14.8L at Southside Pakenham Mdn-Sw over 1200m Soft 7. Created own luck going forward but couldn't sustain that run late 13.8L at Southside Cranbourne Mdn-Sw over 1500m.
