Steward's Comments: When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding, rider advised that her mount did not travel at any stage of the event and was most disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame (grade 3/5) in its off-hind leg. Trainer was told that he would be required to provide a veterinary clearance prior to the gelding being permitted to race again. Vet cert received.

A post-race vet exam revealed a degree of exercise-induced pulmonary haemorrhage which may have affected performance. Tnr was told a vet clearance is required prior to next race/trial.
