Three-year-old gelding making debut by Tivaci out of Meridian. Won a barrier trial at Foxton over 1200m October 21. Drawn wide which doesn't help. Looks a capable type and will be competitive.

Went for a break before returning second last of 7 at Tauherenikau on November 1 over 1400m, on a slow track; 7 len behind Kawakawa with 57.5kg at $26.40. Not going well enough.

First starter by Savabeel - Happy Endings. Hasn't set the track alight with his trials leading into today's race. Not seen on the track to assess positively. Prefer to see under race conditions.

First-starter by Echoes Of Heaven out of All In Bluff. Hard to recommend without a market push.

Filly by Almanzor on debut. Finished sixth in a Foxton trial over 1000m on October 28. Watch market closely.
