Finished off last preparation fourth of 9 at Hawera August 10 over 1400m, on rain affected going; 10 len behind Humza Bey with 58.5kg at $2.60. First up last campaign second of 10 at Otaki June 20 over 1200m, in the wet; 2.25 len behind Tolstoy with 54.5kg at $4.50. Looks a key runner.

Second run back. First-up after six months ran last of 9 at Hawera on October 4 over 1600m, on heavy track; 41 len behind Crafty Colin carrying 58.5kg at $3.80. Previously second-up 2nd in a small field at Waverley 3yo Mdn-Sw on March 19 over 1650m, in the wet; head behind Scandalize carrying 57.5kg at $1.70. Will come on from that run and is well-placed to take this out.

Second run back. First-up after five months second last in a small field at Matamata on October 4 over 1400m, on rain affected going; 6 len behind Smart Tip with 58.5kg at $6.30. Previously second-up 3rd of 11 at Te Aroha on March 7 over 1600m, 5 len behind Victorious Warrior with 58kg at $9.30. Fitter for that run and expected to be in the finish this time.

Third race start. First start eased back early on 12th of 15 at Ellerslie on May 7 over 1400m, slow going 8 len behind Hero Of War carrying 58.5kg at $49.70. Returned from break 4th of 12 at Te Aroha on October 22 over 1600m, slow going 2.75 len behind Rambling On with 58.5kg at $12.60. Fitter for that run and expected to be in the finish this time.

Most recently couldn't go on with it; second last of 8 at this track on October 24 over 2000m, on heavy track; 20 len behind Takes Time carrying 58.5kg at $13.90. The start before that 6th of 8 at Matamata on October 17 over 2000m, slow going 4.5 len behind The Negotiator carrying 58.5kg at $4.70. Will need to do a bit more.

Gelding by Tivaci facing the starter for the first time. Runner-up in a Foxton trial over 1400m on October 21. Cannot be underestimated.

Four-year-old mare (Mongolian Khan - Osmunda) has trialled on four occasions leading into today's race. Wait and see what she can do.

Had five recent trials to get fit for this. Last trial Was third in a Cambridge Synthetic barrier trial over 1300m on October 16. Has claims if presented on song.

At debut, 7th of 13 at Tauranga on October 1 over 1600m, on a slow track; 2.75 len behind Intoxicated with 56.5kg at $10.70. Sure to play a major role.

Dual acceptor. Was at long odds at debut, 4th of 14 at Taupo on October 10 over 1300m, slow going 5 len behind Aksil carrying 54kg at $46.80. Can progress and take this out.
