One-paced to the line and always well back 4L at Caulfield Qlty over 2000m Soft 5. Held position strongly to the line but was never a serious threat 2.2L Archer Stks Group 3 over 2500m.

Just off the speed to contend but was easily defeated once asked for the effort 4.7L at Royal Randwick Bm94 over 1600m. Applied pressure to the leader but had nothing left at the finish, fifth 2.7L at Rosehill Gardens Bm88 over 1800m Soft 6.

Lobbed midfield and couldn't improve from there to settle on sixth at Royal Randwick. Sat outside the pace and shot clear over the final stages to win at Rosehill Gardens. The stage is set for him to prove that he is a genuine stayer.
