Steward's Comments: Jumped awkwardly outwards and made contact with Late December. Refused to settle in the early stages and approaching the turn at the 1100m, commenced to hang out and failed to negotiate the turn. As a consequence, the bit pulled through this colt's mouth, which then raced very wide for the remainder of the turn and into the straight. Thereafter, Jockey G Wright dismounted at approximately the 200m as the bridle had slipped to one side.
