Steward's Comments: Slow to begin & hampered shortly after. When quest re perf. rdr stated his mount settled back as per its normal racing pattern. Rdr added he was required to continually encourage mount along in e&m stages to keep with the field over the sprint distance. Rdr stated mount failed to sprint strongly on straightening & was very disapp to the line. Trn advised in days subsequent that geld had pulled up well & he would continue it prep. P/R vet no ab's.
