Third-up today. First-up 3rd in a small field at Woodville on August 17 over 1100m, in the wet; 1.75 len behind Landman with 55.5kg at $5.60. Last start 4th of 10 at Wanganui on August 30 over 1200m, on rain affected going; 3.5 len behind Amazing Son carrying 56kg at $14.10. Racing well. Hard to beat.

On debut. Three-year-old gelding by Wootton Bassett out of Lazumba. At the most recent trial finished sixth at Te Awamutu over 850m. Don't rule him out.

Gelding by Ocean Park facing the starter for the first time. Trial form indicates he's up to a solid debut. Won a Foxton trial over 1000m on August 19. Trial form suggests he will run well.

This is an ideal race to kick off. Expecting her to hit the ground running this campaign.
