Previously first up; sixth of 10 at Matamata March 12 over 1200m, soft track; 10 len behind Tajana carrying 57.5kg at $29.60. Will improve on whatever he does in this.

Three-year-old gelding having first start by first season sire Justify out of Lubaya. Won a trial over 900m at Cambridge on August 5. Expected to run well from a good draw.

On debut. Three-year-old gelding by Savabeel out of English Rose purchased for NZD $ 85,000 (NZB 2024 Ready 2 Run Sale). At the most recent trial was out of the placings over 900m at Cambridge August 5. Watch for any market moves.

Three-year-old gelding making debut by Wootton Bassett out of Lazumba. Won a trial at Pukekohe over 800m April 29 then followed up with a Was third in a Cambridge trial over 900m on August 5. Drawn wide which doesn't help. Sure to be highly competitive despite an awkward draw.

Three-year-old colt making debut by Satono Aladdin out of From Eden. Purchased for NZD $ 320,000 (NZB 2024 Karaka - Book 1). Was third in a Te Awamutu trial over 850m on July 8 then followed up with a fifth over 900m in a Cambridge trial on August 5. Worth consideration.

First up last campaign eighth of 10 at Matamata March 12 over 1200m, soft track; 13 len behind Tajana carrying 57.5kg at $28.80. Might be better off following this outing.

Filly by Wootton Bassett on debut. Recent trial form has been pretty solid. Ran 3rd in a trial at Avondale over 800m on August 12. Don't rule her out.
