Four-year-old gelding making debut by Belardo out of Midnight Molly. Won a trial over 1000m at Foxton on July 22. Wide barrier to overcome. Looks a capable type and will be competitive.

Back from a long spell. Finished off last preparation ran last of 12 at Sha Tin on July 9 2023 over 1200m, 9 len behind Sweet Briar carrying 55.5kg at $80. When resuming last campaign 4th of 14 at Sha Tin on December 18 2022 over 1000m, 1.5 len behind Excellent Fighter with 60kg at $51. Finished sixth in a Cambridge trial over 900m on August 5. Expected to run well.

At debut, 2nd in a small field at New Plymouth Raceway on July 19 over 1100m, on rain affected going; 1.3 len behind Bolt carrying 54.5kg at $12.30. Improver who can go on with it.

Second-up 3rd of 12 at this track on July 15 over 1200m, on rain affected going; 7 len behind Stewart carrying 56.5kg at $12.20. Progressing well and is a sound each-way chance.

Second-up. First-up after three months 4th of 12 at this track on July 15 over 1200m, in the wet; 8 len behind Stewart carrying 56.5kg at $40. Previously second-up 3rd in a small field at Waverley on March 19 over 1200m, in the wet; 1.5 len behind Procul Boy with 56kg at $14.30. Fitter but others are better placed.

Third race start. First start 7th of 11 at Taupo on October 11 over 1100m, on heavy track; 10 len behind Hitabell with 55.5kg at $7.30. Returned from break 6th of 8 at Arawa Park on July 19 over 1215m, on heavy track; 7 len behind Jelly Roll with 52kg at $5.60. Fitter for that run and expected to be in the finish this time.

Mare by Castledale on debut. Finished fourth in a Ellerslie trial over 1100m on June 9. Wait and see what she can do.

First starter by Zed out of Nakyama. Trialled once on July 22 at Foxton when second over 850m. Barrier an advantage. Recent trial at Foxton was encouraging enough so respect any betting activity.
