Seven-year-old gelding who was well held resuming last start ahead of what appears a fairly hot race today. Would need to improve sharply to threaten.

Races over the jumps today after doing his recent racing on the flat. Comes here off a last start ninth over 2414m at Roscommon. Tested this line-up.

Missed the placings in a hurdle (3419m) at Wexford two back then did a better job to wind-up third in a novice hurdle (4526m) at Clonmel last time out. Right in the mix if he is at his best.

Did a good job to finish second two back in a hurdle (3721m) at Kilbeggan but could only manage fourth in a hurdle (4123m) at Killarney last time, arriving 49 lengths behind the winner. Might find this a bit too tough.
