Had a tough draw last time and was safely held when ninth at Mt Harding over 2300m, beaten 14 metres. Rates highly and from a much better draw can bounce back.

Registered a fine win at Motukarara two starts ago then couldn't follow it up over 2600m at Addington last time, finishing 10 metres away from the winner. Hard to enthuse.

Has not trialled since his last appearance five-and-a-half months ago at Addington. Is a first-up winner previously. Will be hard to beat despite the layoff.
