Finished last campaign in ordinary fashion and was no better resuming 22 days ago in a maiden hurdle (4000m) at Hexham. Fitter but hard to recommend on last couple.

Four-year-old gelding who debuted in a flat at Wetherby over 3200m and was safely held, beaten 68 lengths. Better for the experience but prefer to see again.

Jumper who has mixed the disciplines since returning from a spell. Unplaced when resuming two back on the flat then finished third last time in a hurdle (3200m) at Ayr, beaten 8 lengths. Recent form suggests a big run is on the cards.

Well held last start in a hurdle (3400m) at Carlisle finishing fourth and beaten 12 lengths. Rates strongly on latest and expected to feature in the finish again.

On the comeback trail. Last appeared when he finished fourth in a point to point (4800m) at Loughanmore P2p eight months ago, that effort coming on the back of a moderate fourth on debut 12 days earlier. Definite threat.

Promising four-year-old back from a lengthy layoff. Saluted in a point to point (3200m) at Duncombe Park on debut then finished sixth in a bumper (3400m) at Newcastle All Weather at the only other appearance. This might test him.

Returns from a 258-day spell. Closed last campaign impressively when lining up for just the second time, scoring in a point to point (4800m) at Ballyragget P2p. Has switched stables to the J P L Ewart yard. Definite winning chance.

Finished a modest sixth in a maiden hurdle (3430m) at Carlisle last start. That came after he pulled up two runs back. Certainly worth another chance.

Returns from a spell of three months. Last appeared in a bumper (3200m) at Kelso and did well but found a couple better. Definite winning chance.

Returns from a 263-day spell. Closed last campaign impressively when lining up for just the second time, scoring in a bumper (3400m) at Sedgefield. Leading contender - bold showing expected.
