Minimum Bet

The minimum bet amounts for Fixed Odds transactions are as follows:-

Singles

  • Internet - $1.00
  • Mobile - $1.00
  • Phone Betting - $5.00
  • TAB Agency - $1.00

When placing an ‘Each Way’ or ‘Win and Place’ sport or racing investment, the minimum spend amount is $1.00 each way, for a total cost of $2.00 (for phone betting the total coast for an each way bet is $10).

Multi

  • Internet - $0.50
  • Mobile - $0.50
  • Phone Betting - $5.00
  • TAB Agency Self Service - $0.50
  • TAB Agency Bet Slip - $1.00

Multi Formula (per combination)

  • Internet - $0.50*
  • Mobile - $0.50*
  • Phone Betting - $0.50**
  • TAB Agency Self Service - $0.50*
  • TAB Agency Bet Slip - $1.00

* Excludes Singles (Formula 1) option where minimum spend of $1.00 per combination applies.

** Total bet cost must be $5.00 or greater.

Accumulator

  • Mobile - $0.50
  • Phone Betting - $5.00
  • TAB Agency - $1.00

Accumulator Formula

  • Mobile - $0.50*
  • Phone Betting - $0.50**
  • TAB Agency - $1.00

For NSW Thoroughbred events, the following minimum bet levels will be applicable for wagers made via account, after 9.00am AEST or AEDT (whichever is applicable) on race-day for day meetings or 2.00pm AEST or AEDT (whichever is applicable) on race-day for night meetings:-

For Victorian Thoroughbred events, the following minimum bet levels will be applicable for wagers made via account, after 9.00am AEST or AEDT (whichever is applicable) on race-day for day meetings or 2.00pm AEST or AEDT (whichever is applicable) on race-day for night meetings:-

Cancellations

Fixed Odds investments, excluding 'Singles' bets wagered upon Live Betting contingencies, placed in TAB retail agencies can be cancelled up until two (2) minutes following bet placement. Live Betting 'Singles' transactions may only be cancelled in TAB retail agencies up until thirty (30) seconds following bet placement.

For telephone betting, once the bet call back has been accepted by the customer or the call has been terminated, Fixed Odds bets cannot be cancelled.

Fixed Odds internet and mobile investments cannot be cancelled once confirmed.

Tote bets placed via TAB retail outlets

First Race of a Meeting
If an investment is placed on the first race of a meeting greater than 30 minutes to the AST of that race, the investment can be cancelled anytime up until 30 minutes prior to the AST of that race, at the agency the bet was purchased at.

If an investment is placed on the first race of a meeting, and the investment is placed within 30 minutes to the AST of that race, the bet can only be cancelled within two minutes, notwithstanding the start of the race, and for the correction of an error or omission only.

Subsequent Races of the same meeting
If an investment has been placed on the second or subsequent race of a meeting, the investment can be cancelled at any time up until the close of betting of the previous race for that meeting.

If an investment is placed on the second or subsequent race of a meeting, and the investment is placed after the close of betting for the previous race, the bet can only be cancelled within two minutes, notwithstanding the start of the race, and for the correction of an error or omission only.

Tote bets placed via Internet or Mobile

All Tote bets placed via the internet (tabtouch.com.au) or mobile (TABtouch.mobi) cannot be cancelled once confirmed.

Tote bets placed via TAB Call Centre

For telephone betting, once the bet call back has been accepted by the customer or the call has been terminated, Tote bets cannot be cancelled.
